Possible to earn an Associate’s Degree after Bachelor’s Degree?
airforcewolf asked:
Hello, I will be graduating next year from the university. However, I am interested in nursing but do not qualify for the bachelor’s program in nursing due to a low GPA. Would it be possible for me to go to a community college and earn an A.S. Degree in Nursing even though I already have a B.S. degree?

Nursing degree questions?
girly girl asked:
I am currently a senior in high school and I plan to attend Penn State in the fall to become an RN. I have been talking to my guidance counselors and I am a little confused. From what they told me I can get an associates in nursing in 2 years and be considered an RN, and then re-enroll to get my Bachelors degree. The part I am confused about is when I go back for my Bachelors degree is it just an additional 2 years, or is it another 4 years?
Radiology technician schools
Thanks so much to anyone who helps!!

What kind of education does nursing school classify as?
Cow asked:
I need to fill out some forms asking about my mother’s education but I can’t find anywhere what sort of schooling/degree she technically has. She went to nursing school in the 70s before the training required college and the like. So basically she’s an RN, but never attended college…she went to Mass General’s school of nursing while it existed, but since it is now a graduate school I can’t seem to find what they’d call a nursing degree.
Anyone know what I’m talking about? (someone older perhaps..)

Is it better to have a radiologic technology, or nursing degree before going to ultrasonography school?
Felicia asked:
I am looking into going to untrasonography school in NH. The program says you must take a 2 year program in some kind of science. Either nursing, radiologic technology or physical therapy etc. I wanted to know if it would be better to get a 2 year degree in nursing, or radiologic technology based on the fact that I will be a sonographer, and also with the economy what is best for finding a job and salary wise. Thanks

Can you go to nursing school with any undergrad degree?
Cera P asked:
I am almost finished with my undergrad in education, but my mom was sick this last year of cancer and I spent a lot of time in the hospital with her before she passed away, and that journey has only made me want to help people and work in a hospital even though I really want to be a teacher. Is it possible to go to nursing school with an undergrad in something other than science? I want to get my masters…so I was thinking a masters degree even?
