If I Transfer into a Nursing Program elsewhere with a Liberal Arts Degree, Can I Get A Bachelor’s Degree?

sarah820w asked:

I’m currently enrolled in a college as a Liberal Arts major, but that’s only until I complete the prerequisites to the Nursing (RN) program. My school has an Associates and Bachelors Nursing program (both RN), meanwhile 99% of (affordable and public) schools in my state (NY), only have Associates or Applied Science degrees. I need 18 credits to graduate with a liberal arts degree, but since I’ll be taking a 4 credit course with a handful of 3 credit courses, I won’t be able to graduate by the end of the spring semester. If I transfer to another school, and finish my liberal arts credits there while enrolled in an Associates degree nursing program, will I technically have a bachelor’s? What I’m asking is basically can I transfer into an Associates Degree Nursing program with my 60 liberal arts credits, will I be granted a bachelor’s degree, or will I just have 2 associates degrees?
If I don’t get into the program at my school, and have to go elsewhere, I will most likely have to enroll in an Associates degree RN program. I don’t want to have wasted my time earning all of those liberal arts credits, if I can’t be considered a bachelor’s degree recipient.

Hello, I will be graduating next year from the university. However, I am interested in nursing but do not qualify for the bachelor’s program in nursing due to a low GPA. Would it be possible for me to go to a community college and earn an A.S. Degree in Nursing even though I already have a B.S. degree?

Is getting a masters degree in nursing to be a nurse practitioner as challenging as earning a bachelor’s degr?

Tari17 asked:

I would like to know if graduate school to be a nurse practitioner is as challenging and hard like getting the bachelors degree in nursing? Are there clinicals, and all of the material to learn in such a small amount of time? Or is it a little better because you have already learned a basis of the material and you are just advancing?
