Can you get a BS degree in another school in Nursing after you get an Associate degree in nursing?
tetanecessity asked:
If you get an Associate degree in a school in Houston for nursing, can you then go to another school of nursing that offers BS degrees in nursing and simply go another year or two to get it?
I should’ve said,
Can you get a BS degree in another school in Nursing after you get an Associate degree in nursing without starting all over?

Yes.
If you have your RN already, you will need to look into a RN to BSN program, which is available at most schools that offer a BSN Degree.
If you have not completed a Nursing Program at another school, you will have to apply for their Nursing program and go through the training.
After you get a 2-year degree in Nursing, you can earn a BSN in Nursing built upon what you have achieved. Let’s say you go to City Community College and get an Associate’s in Nursing or Nursing Tech. After that, you could go to, let’s say, XYZ University and finish the last 2-3 years and earn your BSN.
