If I go and get my associated degree in nursing first, and then go on to get my bachelor’s of science in nursing, can I work while I’m completing my bachelor’s coursework?

you can do anything you put your mind to.
As long as you are a licensed nurse, you can work while you do anything…Some places of employment will even help pay a nice chunk of your school expenses if you agree to work for them for a while after you graduate.
